Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist in the Amherst, MA area. This contract opportunity lets you support childrens communication needs while working in a friendly and collaborative school setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Massachusetts (CCC-SLP preferred)
  • Previous experience providing speech therapy in school or pediatric settings
  • Strong understanding of school-based speech and language interventions
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families across diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and communicate findings with staff and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing case management
