Job Description

This position is set in a specialized high school environment tailored for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences, designed to foster personal growth and independence through adapted instruction and support.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist state license and credentials (CCC-SLP required)
  • Experience working in school-based settings, particularly at the high school level
  • Knowledge of individualized, supportive education models, with a passion for working with students with ASD or similar learning differences
  • Previous supervisory experience with SLPAs is a plus
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to high school students in a specialized setting
  • Supervise and mentor a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focused on building independence and communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student progress
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contributing to educational planning

This position offers a consistent weekly schedule of 32.5 hours and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive educational community. The assignment runs from late August 2026 to late June 2027, with exact dates to be finalized.
