Qualifications & Skills

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Georgia SLP license or eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY considered
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
• Comfortable working with diverse backgrounds and varied exceptionalities

Responsibilities

• Assess students with suspected speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student goals
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support language development
• Participate in student evaluation and IEP meetings
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
• Stay current on best practices in speech-language therapy and special education
• Support generalization of communication skills into the classroom setting
