Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure and certification to practice as an SLP
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings
- Pediatric experience highly desired
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students unique goals
- Deliver group and one-on-one therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain clear and current records of student performance and therapy outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary support teams
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families for carryover strategies
