A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Allentown, PA, serving students across Carbon and Lehigh Counties. This contract position offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and potentially extending through the 2026-27 school year. The assignment follows the typical school calendar, with possible early intervention services provided year-round.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services to a K-12 caseload, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals. This role requires delivering onsite services in a school setting, ensuring compliance with therapy standards, and documenting progress effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) as an SLP preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
