A school district in Allentown, PA is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential evaluation and therapy services at an elementary school. This contract position offers approximately 20 hours per week, with schedule flexibility within the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The assignment begins early January and runs through early June, with contracts renewed monthly based on needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations for elementary school students
- Deliver direct speech therapy services as needed
- Assist with make-up services to ensure continuity of care
- Manage workload effectively within a part-time schedule
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license (required)
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in school settings as an SLP highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with educators and families
- Ability to commit to approximately 20 hours per week between 8 AM and 3 PM, Monday to Friday
