Job Description

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a school setting located in Jim Thorpe, PA, beginning January 12, 2026, through June 5, 2026. This position offers approximately 20 hours per week with a schedule within the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students.
  • Provide direct therapy services as needed, supporting a diverse caseload.
  • Assist with make-up services to ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Valid PA SLP license is mandatory.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule within specified hours.

Location:

  • Jim Thorpe, PA within the Jim Thorpe Area School District.

Contract Details:

  • Part-time, roughly 20 hours per week.
  • Workdays Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
  • Contract renewed every 30 days with potential extension to the end of the school year.
