This contract position is based on-site and offers both full-time and part-time options to accommodate your schedule. Youll work directly with early childhood students across multiple communities near Allentown, PA, helping to build foundational communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
Ideal candidates possess expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence. Your compassion, skill, and flexibility will help early childhood students reach their full potential within school settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for Pennsylvania
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience with pediatric and early childhood caseloads, preferably in school-based settings
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with educators, parents, and support professionals
- Commitment to accommodating a diverse student population
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services individually and in groups for early childhood students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise for IEP development and student evaluations
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families and teachers
- Provide consultative support to teaching staff regarding communication strategies in the classroom
