Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-12 students in Carbon and Lehigh Counties, PA. This contract position spans the school year with tentative dates starting ASAP through June 12, 2026, aligning with the academic calendar. The role involves delivering comprehensive speech and language services within school districts and Early Intervention programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students across the K-12 spectrum.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in assessments, evaluations, and IEP meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proof of active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist licensure is mandatory.
  • PDE certification in Speech and Language Education (Ed Sp/Instructional I) is required.
  • Valid PA Speech-Language Pathologist license is preferred.
  • Possession of the ASHA Clinical Competency Certificate (CCC) is a plus.
  • Experience working in school settings and familiarity with Early Intervention programs are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work approximately 35 hours per week.
