Key Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina Speech Pathologist License and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • Interest or previous experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
  • Open to SLPs with a background in healthcare, teletherapy, or clinical fellowship; schools experience highly valued but not required
  • Demonstrated commitment to helping students achieve their communication goals

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs, both in-person and via teletherapy as necessary
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Monitor and report on student progress; adjust interventions accordingly
  • Actively participate in parent meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain thorough documentation to support student growth and service compliance
