Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Speech Pathologist License and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Interest or previous experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Open to SLPs with a background in healthcare, teletherapy, or clinical fellowship; schools experience highly valued but not required
- Demonstrated commitment to helping students achieve their communication goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs, both in-person and via teletherapy as necessary
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Monitor and report on student progress; adjust interventions accordingly
- Actively participate in parent meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain thorough documentation to support student growth and service compliance
