You'll work with diverse student populations, addressing a range of behavioral and speech/language needs, and provide pivotal support to help students thrive academically and socially.
The position requires you to work independently, making a direct impact as you manage your own caseload and collaborate with supportive educational professionals. Engage with a community committed to student growth while developing your skills in a dynamic and fulfilling school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license (mandatory)
- ASHA CCC certification required
- Strong background in pediatric speech/language services within school settings
- Significant experience working with students with varying behavioral and educational needs
- Ability to work autonomouslyno direct supervision provided
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes and provide timely reports as needed
- Deliver therapy sessions both individually and in groups
