Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based opportunity in Allen Park, Michigan. This position offers flexibility for either one full-time SLP or two part-time SLPs and is available for an ASAP start through the end of the 20262027 school year.

The SLP will provide services districtwide, supporting students with communication disorders while collaborating with educators, families, administrators, and other members of the student support team.

Position Details

  • Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Location: Allen Park, MI
  • Setting: School-based, districtwide
  • Schedule: Full-time OR 2 part-time positions
  • Start: ASAP
  • End: End of school year
  • Experience: Pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

The SLP will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative speech-language services to students with identified communication disorders.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations
  • Providing direct speech-language therapy
  • Developing and implementing appropriate intervention plans
  • Consulting with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel
  • Collaborating with parents and families
  • Supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Maintaining appropriate documentation
  • Providing services in accordance with IDEA, Section 504, and applicable state and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • Current Michigan SLP license
  • Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • School-based experience is not required
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
