Key Qualifications:

• Active ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language (SL) endorsement
• Illinois State License (IDFPR) required
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Willingness to work onsite for 37.5 hours per week
• Bilingual skills are essential
• CF-SLPs (first-year clinicians) are encouraged to apply
• SLP-Assistants considered only with explicit note of SLP-A status

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language interventions to a diverse student caseload (placement specifics to be determined)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and document progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for effective therapy strategies
