Step into a dynamic onsite opportunity as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, serving students in a vibrant educational setting near Algonquin, IL. This full-time, contract position spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering 37.5 hours each week with a variety of caseloads determined prior to your start. You'll empower diverse learners to achieve their communication goals and play a key role alongside supportive colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Illinois State Licensure (IDFPR) required
- ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Endorsement
- Bilingual proficiency and experience working with multilingual learners
- Open to first-year SLPs (CFs are encouraged to apply)
- SLP-Assistants may be considered only if specified
- Capacity to adapt therapy plans to individual student needs
- Strong collaboration and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver direct therapy, both individually and in groups, in accordance with IEP guidelines
- Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for student success
- Maintain accurate progress records and contribute to IEP development and reviews
- Foster a positive, inclusive therapy environment, advocating for bilingual and multicultural learners
