This contract opportunity, running from August 17th, 2026, through June 12th, 2027, offers the chance to develop young minds and provide essential support to learners with communication needs. With a stable schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), youll have consistency and balance throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Virginia SLP License (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is beneficial
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and work closely with teachers, families, and IEP teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support each students academic and personal success
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services in individual and group formats
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and ongoing communication with stakeholders
