Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong collaborative skills to work with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluations, diagnostics, and therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Design and deliver individualized and group interventions based on student IEPs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and parents to support student goals and generalize skills across environments
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and required reports
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to support student growth
