Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in New Mexico
- Certification in SLP-CCC or eligibility/interest in completing SLP-CFY
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations, including both elementary and secondary age groups
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address unique student needs
- Provide direct therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff for student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer support and resources to families and staff regarding speech and language development
