What were seeking:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desired, but strong clinical skills from other settings are welcome
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Organization and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic educational setting
In this role, you will:
- Provide assessment and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders for students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver therapy services in both individual and group settings, monitoring progress and adjusting approaches as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success and promote carryover of skills
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in accordance with school and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and professional development activities
