What were seeking:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desired, but strong clinical skills from other settings are welcome
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Organization and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic educational setting

In this role, you will:

  • Provide assessment and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders for students from diverse backgrounds
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver therapy services in both individual and group settings, monitoring progress and adjusting approaches as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success and promote carryover of skills
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in accordance with school and professional standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and professional development activities
