Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; recent graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) also considered
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong collaborative, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and deliver therapy services individually or in small groups, targeting identified goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings by collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school and district requirements
- Engage in consultation with educators to support classroom strategies and student success
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and proactive school environment
