As a vital resource for a school-aged population, you'll play a key role in supporting student success and communication development within an educational setting. The workday runs from 8am to 4pm, offering a balanced schedule that fits well with school operations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current, active Oregon SLP license required
- Experience with school-aged children preferred
- Strong competency in conducting evaluations, as well as delivering both direct and indirect speech and language services
- Comfort collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
- Ability to maintain detailed records and adhere to IEP requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Deliver evidence-based therapy, tailoring interventions to individual student needs
- Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each childs educational goals
- Document student progress, maintain compliance, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Deliver both one-on-one and group services in a positive, inclusive environment
