Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid SLP license for New York State (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Commitment to evidence-based therapy approaches
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Track student progress and document clinical notes and reports
  • Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy services
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development activities
