Essential Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one for New York
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical experience also valued
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by state and local regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in both group and individual settings
