Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Passion for working with non-verbal students and developing innovative communication strategies
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively onsite with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech and communication challenges, with a focus on non-verbal caseloads
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and support student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services and meet compliance requirements
  • Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools to enhance student outcomes
