This contract opportunity is designed for an enthusiastic clinician who enjoys collaborating with educators and families to help students communicate, thrive, and grow.
What We're Seeking:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Experience or interest in serving pediatric populations, including Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders within a school environment
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for diverse age groups
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assess speech, language, and communication needs across a variety of grade levels (Pre-K through 12th grade)
- Develop, implement, and review IEPs in collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services to students with articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school policy and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based staff collaborations as needed
- Offer guidance and education to teachers and parents on supporting communication development in the classroom and at home
