Make an impact in educational settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting diverse student populations from early childhood through high school. This contract opportunity allows you to apply your expertise in pediatric speech therapy and be a key contributor to students communication development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid, current SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations highly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, goal setting, and progress documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for a range of ages, from Pre-K through grade 12
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to students across Pre K, elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
- Evaluate students communication abilities and determine areas of need through assessments
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and collaborate with educators and families
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Educate and support staff and caregivers on strategies to promote effective communication
