Job Description

This full-time, contract position is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing services in a K-12 school setting in Alabaster, AL. The role requires onsite work throughout the current school year (CSY) and involves managing a caseload spanning all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid Alabama Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school-based settings is highly desired
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills for school-aged children

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions aligned with student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
