Job Description
Step into a vital role supporting students from PreK through 12th grade by providing expert speech-language services in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity offers a fulfilling assignment where youll contribute to students growth, working onsite within a collaborative educational community for the 2026-2027 school year.
In this position, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for a diverse student population
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans
- Deliver both direct and indirect services to students, supporting their IEP goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing insight and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to evaluations, interventions, and progress tracking
- Receive professional supervision if you are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), ensuring strong mentorship and growth
- Contribute to a positive environment that fosters communication skills, confidence, and academic access for every student you serve
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Commitment to practicing onsite (remote work is not available for this position)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents across all grade levels
This contract assignment begins August 2026 and concludes in May 2027, with a consistent 37.5-hour work week and the support of a dedicated onsite team. Supervision is readily available for CFY candidates, offering a fantastic environment for growth and collaboration.
