Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active NC Speech Language Pathologist License required
  • NC Teaching Certification necessary
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • School-based and pediatric experience highly valued

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with a dedicated and supportive staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, maintain thorough records, and communicate progress with families and educational teams
  • Provide consultative support and strategies to educators for fostering students success
  • Adapt therapy and interventions to a culturally diverse student population

Position Details:

  • School-based contract role
  • 20 hours per week, scheduled across 5 weekdays
