Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active NC Speech Language Pathologist License required
- NC Teaching Certification necessary
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- School-based and pediatric experience highly valued
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with a dedicated and supportive staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, maintain thorough records, and communicate progress with families and educational teams
- Provide consultative support and strategies to educators for fostering students success
- Adapt therapy and interventions to a culturally diverse student population
Position Details:
- School-based contract role
- 20 hours per week, scheduled across 5 weekdays
