Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across two school sites as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role covers summer session needs for K-12 students, and youll play an essential part in helping learners thrive during the Extended School Year program. Start July 6th and make a difference through August 14th in a flexible, part-time schedule. Travel between sites is required, and paid travel is included.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid NY SLP License and TSSLD required
- Open to both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn a new IEP system (training provided)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, meeting individual IEP goals
- Document sessions and progress within the districts IEP system
- Participate in paid team meetings and indirect hours for admin time
- Collaborate with educators, families, and district professionals to develop and monitor student plans
- Support students across two school locations with possible itinerant needs
- Maintain compliance with district and state requirements
