Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school settings
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication development in children
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate with teachers and families
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, according to students goals
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and maintain detailed records
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate speech-language support throughout the school environment
- Contribute to school meetings and provide resources or training as needed
