Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain
- State licensure (or ability to become licensed) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Recent experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented atmosphere for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct and consultative SLP services for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student academic and social success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt therapy strategies and interventions to meet both individual and group needs
- Provide resources, support, and education to caregivers and colleagues regarding speech-language development
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based therapy services
