Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active, valid SLP license for South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Prior experience with pediatric caseloads in a school-based setting
• Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students educational goals
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) to children with diverse backgrounds
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and provide data for IEP meetings
• Consult with educators and families on effective strategies for supporting student communication
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
• Adapt therapy methods to best support student engagement and progress
