Qualifications:
- Current Maryland Speech Language Pathologist license
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification (or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow)
- Experience or passion for working in pediatric or school-based settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans and work effectively within a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat elementary students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators to support student progress
- Document assessments, interventions, and communication with stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings, RTI processes, and assist with parent education as needed
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language strategies
