A rewarding opportunity awaits for an experienced or early-career Speech-Language Pathologist to make a difference within a collaborative school setting covering a first semester maternity leave contract. This full-time assignment offers the chance to provide essential support for preschool through itinerant services, delivering impactful speech and language interventions throughout the Greenwood, SC area.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina LLR License
- South Carolina Teaching Certification / Educator Licensure
- Prior experience in school settings is preferred; strong healthcare or pediatric backgrounds are welcome
- Commitment to supporting a diverse range of student communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services and track student progress
- Collaborate with educational and therapy teams to support inclusive student success
- Serve approximately 4045 students across multiple sites with paid indirect time included
- Participate in regular team meetings, with collaboration built into your 7.5-hour day
Role Details:
- Full-time, contract position, covering July 17, 2026 January 4, 2027
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day
- Caseload: 4045 students, with preschool and itinerant responsibilities
