This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional with their Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) to bring their expertise and passion to a vibrant educational setting.
This W2 contract role allows you to focus on delivering high-quality services while experiencing the rewards of helping children develop essential communication skills that impact their academic and social success.
What youll bring:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in diverse classroom or clinical environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to improving outcomes for students with various speech and language needs
Role responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students across grade levels
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that reflect each students unique strengths and goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to reinforce communication skills beyond therapy sessions
