Job Description

Youll be joining a dedicated educational environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure equitable communication access across various classroom and campus activities.

Requirements for Success:

  • Valid state licensure and credentials for Sign Language Interpreting
  • EIPA score of 4.0 or higher (required)
  • Proven experience working with K-12 students in educational settings preferred
  • Ability to interpret in a variety of classroom and extracurricular environments
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver real-time sign language interpretation for students and staff in general and special education classrooms
  • Facilitate communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing, peers, and educators
  • Support students understanding of curriculum content and classroom interactions
  • Adapt interpreting techniques in accordance with specific learning needs, settings, and IEP requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with school staff to foster inclusive educational experiences
  • Contribute to ongoing student progress and success through active engagement in the school community

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
