Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (relevant state/national credentials required)
  • Previous experience in educational settings, preferably K-12
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)

  • Ability to adapt and communicate effectively in dynamic school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 sign language interpreting services for students in a full-time school setting
  • Facilitate clear, effective communication between students, educators, and staff
