What Youll Need:
- Current Sign Language Interpreter certification
- Minimum EIPA score of 4.0
- Ability to interpret accurately in educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to professional standards and ethical guidelines
- Experience in school settings preferred, but dedicated new interpreters are welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality sign language interpretation for students during classroom instruction from 7:35am-9:35am
- Accurately convey spoken instruction and classroom dialogue between teachers, students, and staff
- Support student engagement by facilitating effective communication
- Collaborate closely with educational teams to ensure student needs are met
- Adapt interpretation services to a variety of academic subjects and settings
