This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to facilitate clear and effective communication in classrooms and school activities, collaborating closely with educators and staff to ensure every student has equitable access.

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency and certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
• EIPA score of 3.0 or higher required
• Previous experience working with elementary school students is highly valued
• Ability to engage, interpret, and foster inclusive communication in academic settings
• Commitment to confidentiality and maintaining a supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person interpreting services during school hours (7:45 AM 3:15 PM)
• Provide clear, accurate sign language interpretation for students, teachers, and staff
• Assist in classroom instruction, school events, and student interactions as needed
• Collaborate with educators and related service professionals to support student learning goals
• Maintain effective communication records and contribute to team meetings when required
