Qualifications

  • Minimum 3.5 EIPA score
  • Valid state interpreter license through GaPSC
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide sign language interpretation for a 6th or 7th grade student in a self-contained classroom
  • Work either 32.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) or 16 hours per week (Tuesday & Wednesday only)
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records related to interpretation services
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to adapt classroom content for student accessibility
