A contract position is available for a Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within a school setting in Monmouth, OR. This role requires proficiency in sign language interpretation to support effective communication for students and staff during remote learning and virtual meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and clear sign language interpretation for telehealth sessions.
- Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and educators via virtual platforms.
- Ensure all interpreted information is conveyed neutrally and confidentially.
- Collaborate with school personnel to prepare for scheduled sessions and support accessibility needs.
