Job Description

This contract-based opportunity is designed for professionals ready to contribute to student success and partner closely with educators.

What you bring:

  • Current EIPA score of 4.0 or higher
  • Valid state licensure/certification for Sign Language Interpreters
  • Experience working with students in the K-12 setting (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
  • Willingness to work onsite throughout the school year

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing sign language interpretation for classroom instruction, school activities, and meetings
  • Facilitating communication between students, staff, and families
  • Collaborating with teachers, special education teams, and administration
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to established protocols
  • Providing support to ensure equal access to curriculum and school experiences
