This travel assignment allows SLI/ASL Interpreters to not only expand their clinical repertoire, but also gain exposure to new instructional approaches and leadership styles in a dynamic school setting. Qualifications:
- Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter (educational settings preferred)
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Open to both certified and non-certified candidates
- Ability to adapt communication style for younger learners
- Flexibility, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility
Responsibilities:
- Provide ASL interpretation for one assigned student (either kindergarten or third grade)
- Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to enhance learning accessibility
- Support students participation and engagement in classroom activities
- Maintain professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions
- Participate in district training and school-specific onboarding
