Job Description
A part-time Sign Language Interpreter position is available in an elementary school setting, supporting a PreK classroom. This role is onsite and requires a commitment of 3.75 hours per day. The contract extends through May 22, 2026, with an immediate start date.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clear and professional sign language interpretation services to support communication within the classroom
- Collaborating with educators and staff to facilitate an inclusive learning environment
- Ensuring accurate interpretation of educational content tailored for young learners
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions
Qualifications and experience required:
- Must hold a minimum EIPA score of 4.0
- Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in school settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood education communication needs
- Ability to work onsite consistently for the duration of the contract
