Position Details & Responsibilities:

  • Full-time position (37.5 hours/week) for the 2026-2027 school year
  • Work directly onsite (per parents preference) with HS students in an adaptive classroom
  • Provide comprehensive sign language interpreting services for a student in a wheelchair; additional details for potential 1:1 student to be confirmed
  • Collaborate closely with SPED teachers and support personnel

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (if your score is lower, reach out to discuss)
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
  • Experience working with students with varying needs, especially within special education settings
