What youll bring:
- Current California SLP license or CA CTC credential
- Proficiency in American Sign Language and experience interpreting within educational settings
- Ability to adapt interpreting style to match students' ages and needs, accommodating a range of disabilities
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with teachers, staff, and families
- Professionalism, reliability, and dedication to promoting student success
What youll do:
- Deliver high-quality sign language interpreting services to K-12 students, ensuring full participation in classroom instruction and activities
- Collaborate with educational teams to support individualized student goals and access to curriculum
- Serve at multiple sites as needed within the school community, adapting to different learning environments
- Provide support for both one-on-one and group settings, and communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding student progress
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development to enhance skills and service quality
