A full-time Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) position is available in the Santa Barbara, CA area, offering in-person work within a school setting. This role requires a valid California SLI certification and a commitment to facilitating effective communication for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation for classroom instruction and school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and students to support inclusive learning environments.
• Assist with communication between students, educators, and families as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) certification.
• Experience working as an interpreter in educational settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of Deaf culture and effective communication strategies.
• Ability to work full-time hours in person.
