Key Qualifications:

• Valid California SLP license or CA CTC certification required
• Previous experience in educational settings preferred
• Demonstrated fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Ability to interpret for a range of ages, needs, and educational subjects

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation for students, teachers, and staff in classroom and school activities
• Adapt interpreting approaches for various grade levels and student needs
• Support students academic, social, and emotional growth by ensuring access to instruction and activities
• Collaborate effectively with educators and service providers to address individual student plans
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards at all times
