Job Description

A Sign Language Interpreter position is available in the Saint Paul, MN area, serving local schools with occasional travel requirements. This role supports effective communication for students who are deaf or hard of hearing by providing skilled sign language interpretation services in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff to ensure full access to educational content
  • Collaborate with educators and support personnel to provide appropriate accommodations
