A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide dedicated support within a school setting in Rockwell, North Carolina. This position involves working closely with an elementary student to facilitate effective communication and inclusion through expert sign language interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver sign language interpretation services to support one elementary students educational needs.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure clear communication access.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school protocols using ECATS.
• Participate in virtual interviews and ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Sign Language Interpreter licensure (NCDPI SLI License).
• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher.
• Proficiency with ECATS (Educational Communication and Assistive Technology System).
• Prior experience working in school environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of interpreting standards and school-based team collaboration.

Location and Schedule:

• Worksite located in Rockwell, NC.
• Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.
• Contract period: August 4, 2026 through May 28, 2027.
