As an Educational Sign Language Interpreter, you will:
Qualifications:
- Hold a current SLI license in the state of NM
- Possess proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Demonstrate commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate 1:1 as an interpreter for a preschool student
- Provide sign language exposure to students in 1st through 8th grades
- Work 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from 7:45am - 4:15pm
- Support and facilitate communication to empower students learning experiences
- Engage with faculty and participate in professional development
