Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support educational environments with travel responsibilities. This role involves providing expert sign language interpretation services for schools, ensuring effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their educators. Located primarily in Pekin, IL, this position requires travel to various schools within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate clear and accurate sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events.
- Collaborate with teachers, students, and staff to create an inclusive learning experience.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Travel to assigned schools within the area as needed to provide on-site interpretation services.
