Job Description

Full-time positions are available, extending through the end of the school year in May 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Current national certification to interpret in a school environment or EIPA score of 3.7 or above (required)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Previous experience interpreting in educational settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students, educators, and families
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sign language interpretation between students, staff, and other stakeholders as assigned
  • Support academic and extracurricular activities through accurate, culturally competent communication
  • Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to adapt materials and instruction to meet student needs
  • Maintain detailed records regarding student progress and services provided
  • Uphold all ethical standards and compliance requirements relevant to educational interpreting
